Return and Refund Policy

All Purchases are final.

Returns accepted for expired or defective products purchased within last 15 days of purchase. Items returned

• With a receipt: will be refunded to original payment

• Without receipt: store credit may be issued at manager discretion

 

For other items that are purchased in error, a store credit can be issued if the item is returned with the receipt within 5 days of purchase and in an unopened original salable condition.

Communication is important during the return process. If an item is identified as defective or expired once you take it home- please call the store where the item was purchased to notify staff immediately of the issue. Staff will discuss what steps are required to make the return and receive refund/store credit, as appropriate.

International Date Code

At Sayar Market, we offer products from countries around the world.  

 

A vast majority of the world uses a date code format of Day/Month/Year:

i.e. 1/10/2022 would be the 1st of October, 2022. This is considered an International Date Code.

• Most countries in Europe uses this format including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands, and numerous other countries.

• Majority of countries in South America also use this format including Peru, Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela.

• Countries in Western Asia also follow this format including Turkey, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and numerous other countries in the Middle East.

In the United States however date code format is different: Month/Day/Year:

i.e. 1/10/2022 would be the 10th of January, 2022. This is considered the National Date Code.
